Lensmate S95/S90 Adapter 37mm

Written by Gail Bjork

Attach 37mm filters to a Canon s90 or s95 digital camera with the Lensmate Quick-Change Filter Adapter.

For those who want to attach a filter to their Canon s90 or s95 digital camera, the lightweight Lensmate Quick-Change Filter Holder Kit 37mm may be just what you’re looking for.

The filter holder is removable to prevent any blocking of the flash. Only a small receiver stays on the camera.

The receiver won’t affect the automatic lens cover in any way. It is the same diameter as the end of the lens barrel so your camera will still be pocketable. In addition, the lens barrel can’t be harmed when tightening or loosening of the filter because of the magnetic retention system.

Many photo enthusiasts use and recommend Lensmate products. Their s90/s95 Control Ring Solution made the difference between me keeping and getting rid of my s90 because of its free-wheeling rear control dial!

The S95/S90 Quick-Change Filter Holder kit includes:

  • Receiver
  • Filter holder
  • Install tube
  • 37mm clip-in style lens cap
  • A hinged lid storage container
  • An extra 3M dual-sided adhesive film ring
  • A removal device

Products by Lensmate are very well made and the company is a pleasure to deal with. For more information on the QuickChange Adapter Kit, visit the Lensmate site.

Lensmate makes a 52mm Quick-Change Filter Holder for the Canon G12, G11 and G10.

  • Alan, according to Lensmate, you should not experience vignetting. However, a polarizer combined with another filter will cause slight vignetting at the cameras’ wide setting. Visit the Lensmate site for FAQs and other helpful information about the adapter. You can email them directly with any other questions you may have.

  • Hi,
May I know if there is any vignetting when shooting with  focal length at 28 mm (widest angle) with 37mm filter?

So far has anyone used with above kit on S90/S95? Did you face any problem?

    Thanks.
    Alan.
